"I started A.E.T. from my love of basketball mixed with creating strong bonds with athletes on and off the court. My coaching incorporates getting to know what the athlete needs, providing the skills for them to grow, making sure they are mechanically moving correctly as well as holding athletes accountable off the court in their recovery, nutrition and external factors."

"My coaching, through AET provides aspiring athletes with all the tools necessary to compete at their best, covering the holistic nature of sports performance.

Through athletic training, specified skill work and tests of mental resilience, I help athletes both compete and excel.

Working with AET provides me with the opportunity to teach and assist athletes in the basketball space which I am extremely passionate about. My passion for both basketball and coaching drives me to get the very best out of each individual athlete, on and off the court.

Creating positive relationships is extremely important to both myself and the team at AET, as our message has an impact on athletes that goes beyond the basketball court."

Zoey Miller

Elite Coach / Head of Girls Local Competition

Zoey Miller

"I love coaching at AET because I get to work with incredible young athletes and watch them grow, not just in basketball, but as people.

At AET I coach girls' local competition teams, as well as individual and group sessions, and it's truly rewarding to see their confidence and skills develop over time.

I really value the on-court and off-court conversations and relationships I share with the girls. Whether we're breaking down moves, working through challenges or sharing a laugh together, those moments help build trust and connection, something that goes beyond basketball.

There's nothing better than seeing someone master a new skill they've been working hard on or light up as they tell me about a great weekend game they've had. Having the opportunity to help them grow and be part of their journey is what makes coaching so special to me. I want every athlete I coach to feel valued, inspired, and confident in what they can achieve."

Oli Hammond

Elite Coach / Head of Boys Local Competition

"Being a part of AET gives me the opportunity to help develop the up-and-coming basketball players in our community and allows me to impart on them the knowledge and understanding I've accumulated throughout my years of playing.

I understand that whether it's school or representative basketball the coaches you have along the way are essential in not only improving your skill as a player but also helping you stay motivated whilst enjoying your basketball experience.

By pushing athletes at training to create a competitive yet enjoyable environment I hope to nurture their skill development and understanding of the game whilst creating a memorable bond between coach and athlete."

"I played in the Manly Warringah Representative system for 3 years which exposed me to a lot of fantastic coaches and even more game like scenarios. I started coaching school teams, which led to coaching the U12 D2 Manly Boys team.

Through all of it James was my coach and he asked if I wanted to help as many kids get better and enjoy basketball as possible. My coaching style focuses on the fundamentals of basketball and aims to create an understanding of why we do the things we do to create opportunities for ourselves on the court. We also have a great time doing it."

"Throughout my basketball journey, I have had the benefit of working with great coaches that have been pivotal to my success, so I understand the impact a coach can make on a player's development. I have been fortunate to play at a national level representing NSW, and also in the Australian schoolboys championships, and now, more recently a scholarship to play college basketball in Brooklyn, New York.

I love working at AET, where I am able to help athletes with their physical and mental development, paving the way for clients to grow into not only great players but also better people. I believe coaching sessions should be both challenging and fun, fostering skill development and a love of the game."
