College is hard work but you've got to learn to love it. It's definitely a grind but it is by far the most rewarding thing I've ever done in my life.

Jimmy was instrumental in transitioning me from a pure post player to stretch forward perimeter type player. He has helped me with my ballhandling/playmaking and shooting a lot. Couldn't be more thankful for him as both a coach and a person.

Training with Jimmy has been really good for me. Every session's got a purpose — he knows exactly what to work on and how to push me without overdoing it.

He's super easy to get along with, keeps things competitive and fun when we train in groups, and always gives feedback that helps me get better each week.

These sessions have been huge for keeping me sharp for the NBL1 seasons. The work we do has helped me stay consistent and clean up the little details that make a big difference on the court.

I started working with James a couple of years ago, and his coaching has had a big impact on my development.

He's helped me refine my game, focus on the details, and push beyond what I thought I could do. His approach strikes the right balance between support and accountability, which I've really enjoyed.

Over time, he's built a great relationship with me both on and off the court, creating an environment where I always feel supported but also challenged to improve.

Seeing the impact his coaching has had on me is a big reason why I wanted to start coaching for AET myself.

What I've realised so far is college is very full on and it's all about preparation and being very organised. I struggle with it and so do others but that's all good. This goes for both college life and basketball. You should try to decide what you care about most while there, whether that be basketball, school or social life and that will help you know where to invest the majority of your time.

What really helped me in the month leading up to going to college were the weekly beach conditioning sessions with Jimmy and the other boys. It helped to have mates with similar goals going through the sand dunes with you. All this helped me early with conditioning as college is such a faster pace.

It's been an amazing experience so far! I have learnt a lot about myself on and off the court. Overall, I'm enjoying the process of improving everyday and getting to play the sport I love at the next level.

Training with Jimmy over my break allowed me to learn and work on many different aspects of my game. All while competing against other college athletes at these sessions.

I took a little bit of a different route with the college experience, I committed to a junior college which so far has been an awesome experience, some ups and downs but mostly things that make me better at the end of each day. My progress in basketball has gone through the roof.

The lead up to going to college was also very great for my development and getting me ready for some of the hard parts about playing basketball in America, training with Jimmy made it easy to adapt in this style of play. I was training with Jimmy multiple times a week to where my body was feeling amazing and I was jumping through the roof. All of that training so I could have success playing over in America.

Being at Davidson has been a really challenging but rewarding opportunity. I just love being able to live and train with my best mates every day and be surrounded by great people.

Leading up to college Jimmy really helped me to get my touch and confidence back after a long injury. He made sure the drills were relevant to what I'd be doing at college which made me feel more prepared for the new season.

It's Tough but super rewarding, the work you put in is shown in the results so the harder you work the more rewarding it is. It's definitely challenged me and made me grow only for the better.

Without training with Jimmy and the team at AET I wouldn't be where I am today. The countless hours in the gym and on the court were so important to getting me here today, and I can't stress enough how grateful I am for the relationship we have developed over the years!

College was great, living with and constantly being around like minded and driven athletes with similar aspirations means that there is always a way to push yourself and get better everyday on the court or in the weight room.

Working out with Jimmy was really useful, drilling game specific scenarios and reads made it super easy to transition into new systems and play freely and effectively at the college level.

College is a full time commitment both academically and athletically. It’s a struggle sometimes to find time for everything, but it is so rewarding and gives u experiences you couldn’t get anywhere else.

The lifts and workouts with Jimmy on a daily basis helped me get ready for the physicality and competitiveness of college basketball. Being able to sharpen my skills and get 1% better every day put my in the best possible position to succeed.

Jonas was a great role model for our AET players as a coach. He taught many how to refine their skills, the power of mental toughness, positivity through all workouts and effort over talent.

Jonas also won defensive player of the year in NBL1 East in his first year of playing for Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.
